The Ambassadors
The Ambassadors is a painting by Hans Holbein the Younger. I love this painting because of many reasons. The level of detail is mesmerizing, and the skewed skull on the bottom of the painting, which looks three dimensional at the right angle, really shows off the painter's skills.
Demon (Sitting)
Demon (Sitting) is a painting by Mikhail Vrubel. I Love this painting because of the emotion in the face and the dark tones, the painting almost seems reflective, as id the demon is reflecting on his actions. Its a very beautiful painting that has inspired on of my paintings.
